Truck Violence have announced The Weathervane Is My Body, their second full-length album and first for The Flenser. The record is set for release on 26 June 2026, marking a new chapter for the Montreal duo after building their sound through a strongly DIY approach.

The band also unveiled “New Jesus” as the album’s lead single. The new record continues the harsh, noisy energy that defined Truck Violence’s earlier work, while sharpening their blend of post-hardcore and noise rock traditions. The label highlights that the album was recorded, mixed and shaped in-house, with no outside intervention.

The weathervane is my body, the band's second full-length record and first with San Francisco's The Flenser, is the product of that process. Every element reflects this. The group composition, the recording, the mixing and the visual media were all produced in house without outside intervention. DIY here is not an aesthetic choice or a marketing angle, it is the only honest option available.
