James Blake has officially announced his seventh album, titled 'Trying Times', set for release on March 13. The record marks a new milestone in his career, in what is his first fully independent release, issued through his own label, Good Boy Records.
The lead single, “Death of Love”, is a dark, brooding track in which Blake moves smoothly over basslines that feel unmistakably familiar. The follow-up to "Playing Robots Into Heaven" will feature collaborations with British rapper Dave and Los Angeles–based vocalist Monica Martin.
