Today was marked by the announcement of the release of a collaborative album by Nine Inch Nails and Boys Noize, under the project name Nine Inch Noize.

Nine Inch Nails and Boys Noize have been developing a significant creative partnership since 2024, with particular highlights including live collaborations during the 2025/2026 Peel It Back tour, the mixed version of Challengers soundtrack, and production contributions by Boys Noize to the soundtrack for TRON: Ares.

With a release date set for April 17, shortly after their appearance at Coachella 2026, the project represents a new stage in the collaboration between the two artists. Based on their previous joint work, the album is expected to combine elements associated with Nine Inch Nails’ industrial sound and Boys Noize’s gritty and acid-tinged EDM.

If you are curious about the sonic direction of this collaboration, the remix of “Ghost in the Machine” from the TRON: Ares soundtrack offers a reference point for what can be expected.
